Navigating

Our web features a number of navigational aids. These are visual elements you click on to move around. Links Links are highlighted text -- usually blue -- that lead to new locations in the web. To jump from a link to a new location, click on the highlighted text. Menus: | Home | Contents | News | Menus appear at the top and bottom of every page in our web. Menus provide links to the major subject areas. Blue Bars: Blue Bars are links that jump down from topic to topic within the current page. Top Links: Top links jump to the top of the current page. Most top links appear along the right margin, near the scroll bar. You will also find top links at the very bottom of long pages in our web.

Viewing

The visual style of our web relies on extensions to HTML published by Netscape Communications Corporation. For best results when viewing our pages, use the latest version of Netscape's Navigator software. Following are the key Navigator Preferences we used when designing the web: Styles Links are: not underlined Fonts Use the Proportional Font: Times New Roman 10 Use the Fixed Font: Courier New 8 Colors Use Colors From: Document, if Present Text: Black Images and Security Colors: Dither to Color Cube Display Images: While Loading We developed our page layout on an SVGA monitor with a display resolution of 800 x 600 pixels.

Printing

For best results when printing the pages of our website, make the following settings under File, Page Setup: Turn off beveled lines Turn on black text Set top and bottom margins to 0.25"
